Labels – metallic foil (regular shapes, guillotine cutting)

Labels are self-adhesive media printed with information and applied to packaging or products, where they serve for labeling, information or promotion.

Labels typically contain information about ingredients, usage, warnings or branding.

Regular-shaped labels are digitally printed on sheets in B2 or SRA3 format, then cut to the desired final size using a guillotine (cutting machine), such as rectangles or squares.

The most commonly used are standard formats (A4, A5, A6, A7), but cutting to custom dimensions is also possible (e.g. 53 × 77 mm, 85 × 92 mm).

The minimum format of a label is approximately 40 × 40 mm.

With the addition of metallic foil (gold, silver or colored), labels gain a glossy and premium appearance, highlighting key elements and increasing the perceived value of the product.

Metallic foil is most commonly used for logos, text, highlights or decorative elements you want to emphasize.

For optimal foil application, pre-lamination (matte or soft-touch) is required, ensuring strong adhesion and enhanced contrast.

Various materials are available, such as coated self-adhesive paper and synthetic PP material, which is resistant to water, moisture and UV light.

These labels are ideal for premium packaging, cosmetics, wine labels, luxury products and branding, where you want to create an elegant and standout impression.

For a standard option, see standard labels, or for a raised effect labels with 3D UV varnish.

Printing labels in standard formats – a fast and cost-effective solution

Labels cut with a guillotine are an excellent choice for projects where you need simple shapes, fast production and an affordable price. They are suitable for product labeling, declarations, promotions, price labels, and also for basic wine labels in smaller runs.

Guillotine cutting allows precise finishing of printed sheets and the production of final labels in standard or custom formats. This is a very practical solution for smaller series where there is no need for complex shapes, and the user wants fast and reliable production without additional tooling costs.

✔ standard and нестandard formats    ✔ fast production    ✔ cost-effective solution for smaller runs    ✔ paper and synthetic materials
✔ individual pieces    ✔ suitable for manual application    ✔ premium finishing options    ✔ also for wine labels

Guillotine cutting of labels is one of the most common methods for fast and precise finishing of printed sheets and producing final labels in standard shapes.

This is cutting along straight lines, which means that the final label shapes are most often rectangular or square. This method is very efficient, cost-effective and suitable for simple projects where there is no need for complex shapes.

We most often produce labels in standard formats such as A4, A5, A6 and A7, but cutting to custom dimensions is also possible, such as 53x77 mm, 85x92 mm or other non-standard sizes.

The minimum format of a guillotine-cut label is approximately 40x40 mm.

The labels are supplied individually, which means removing them from the backing is somewhat more demanding than with sheet labels. Nevertheless, this solution is very practical for smaller quantities and projects where a good balance between price and production speed is important.

Guillotine-cut labels are suitable for product labeling, promotions, declarations, price tags and also for simple wine labels in smaller runs.

If you need custom shapes or easier removal from the sheet, we recommend sheet labels (CNC cutting), where the labels are prepared for faster handling and easier manual application.

For label printing, we use different self-adhesive materials, which are basically divided into paper and synthetic (PP).

Paper materials are cost-effective and suitable for general use, while PP materials are more resistant to water, moisture, UV light and mechanical stress.

Textured papers in white or cream are also particularly popular, creating a more natural and prestigious appearance. Such materials are an excellent choice for wine labels, as they highlight the character of the product and improve perceived quality.

For special purposes, fluorescent materials in various colors are also available, suitable for marking prices, promotions, discounts or warning information.

For additional visual value, labels can be enhanced with advanced finishing:

  • 3D UV Spot varnish – embossed highlights on selected elements
  • Metallic foil – gold or silver for a premium appearance

With the right combination of material, format and finishing, you can create labels that not only inform, but also effectively sell the product and attract the customer’s attention.

This category is therefore an excellent choice for smaller series of labels where you want a simple shape, fast execution and a professional final result.
