Postcards

Who doesn’t recognize those charming cards with an attractive photo on the front and space for a short message on the back? Postcards are one of the most popular forms of mail communication, in use for over a century.

They can be used for promoting your product, for conducting contests, or as the new generation of postcards that carry target data or a QR code on the back, which can connect your customer to your website, GPS location, etc.

Postcards are printed on thicker or stiffer papers, with grammages of 300 or 350 g/m2. We recommend choosing the bulky paper Metsa Board, with a thickness of 500 µm. This paper is coated on one side and uncoated on the other, making it ideal for printing premium postcards.

On the coated side, the photo is printed, while the uncoated side is suitable for writing messages with a pen.

The standard postcard size is A6 format, but you can also choose the larger A5 format or the elongated 210x99 mm format. There is also the option of custom dimensions.

In the case of lamination, the only sensible choice is one-sided lamination. The most commonly selected option is gloss lamination, which gives the graphics a shiny appearance.

Also available is the option for 3D partial varnishing or digital hot foil printing with metallic gold or silver foil. Advanced technology opens a completely new dimension in postcard design, where aesthetics and technological innovation combine.

Since postcards are mailed, we can make your work easier and save you time with personalization. All we need from you are the details – addresses in an Excel file – that you would like to have personalized on your postcards. Most commonly, these are addresses</>, but they can also be discount codes, different passwords, labels, etc...
