As the name suggests, labels for manual application are manually applied to products. Therefore, in this case, you do not need to worry about the direction and position of the labels on the roll.

Labels for manual application can be supplied on individual rolls, on a 33 cm wide roll, or on sheets.

Regardless of the option you choose, the labels are supplied on a carrier backing, allowing for quick and easy application.

Usually, labels are supplied on rolls with the label width, meaning the material is cut lengthwise.

If you choose the option of winding on a roll with a 33 cm width, the material is not cut lengthwise, which means the labels on the roll are placed side by side in the transverse direction.

The third option available is labels on sheets, which are not wound on rolls but are cut into sheets from the printed roll in the transverse direction.
Based on the quantity of labels you need, two cutting methods are available: digital CNC cutting or traditional die-cutting.

Digital CNC cutting is slower compared to traditional die-cutting, making it suitable for printing small runs from 100 to a few thousand pieces.

Since this cutting technology does not require a die-cutting tool, the main advantage is that we are not limited by the size and shape of the label, as is the case with traditional die-cutting.

Die Cut - traditional die-cutting is much faster than digital cutting, so this method is chosen for larger runs (from 500 to 100,000 pieces).

We have over 500 free die-cutting tool dimensions available in our database. If the desired size is not available, a new tool will need to be created. The cost of creating a new tool is + 100€ + VAT!
