Label test printing allows you to check the actual appearance of your label before placing a larger order. We print them on the selected material with the appropriate adhesive under real production conditions. S, L and XL packages determine the material length (320 mm width) on which your designs are printed. If you have one design, package S is usually sufficient. If you have multiple different labels (multiple designs), choose a larger package (L or XL) so all designs can be arranged one after another. Prepare the file as a single PDF with all designs placed in sequence. The labels are not finally die-cut (no die-cut), but are delivered on the material (roll or sheet) in the selected length.

Label test print allows you to check the actual appearance and quality of the label before placing a larger order. The sample is produced under real production conditions, on the selected material, with the appropriate adhesive and finishing – just like in final production.

Check the colors, readability, print quality, and material feel. An important part of the test is also choosing the right adhesive, as different surfaces and usage conditions require different solutions. With the test print, you can verify adhesion, durability, and the suitability of the label in practice.

S, L, and XL packages determine the material length (width 320 mm) on which your designs are printed. If you have one design, package S is usually sufficient. If you have several different labels (multiple designs), choose a larger package (L or XL) so all designs can be arranged one after another.

Prepare the file as a single PDF with all designs placed in sequence. The labels are not finally die-cut (without die-cut), but are delivered on the material (roll or sheet) in the selected length.

Package selection (S / L / XL)

All samples are printed on material with a width of 320 mm. The difference between the packages is in the material length (500 / 1000 / 1500 mm), which determines how many designs you can include. More designs mean a larger package.

Sample S – 320 × 500 mm

Suitable for 1 label design or checking the basic appearance. You will receive multiple identical labels on the material, depending on the size of the design.

Sample L – 320 × 1000 mm

Suitable for multiple label designs or comparing different versions. The longer length allows multiple designs to be placed one after another.

Sample XL – 320 × 1500 mm

Suitable for multiple designs or more extensive testing of several versions at once. Ideal for projects with multiple different labels.

Why choose a test print?

  • Realistic preview: actual colors, materials, and finishes
  • Detail check: fine print, lines, and contrasts
  • Adhesion test: how the adhesive performs on your packaging
  • Less risk: make corrections before a larger run
  • More designs: test several versions at the same time

Application

Ideal for new products, packaging redesigns, or more demanding projects where final appearance, quality, and adhesion are crucial.

Recommended before every larger order.

Proper file preparation is essential for high-quality printing! Follow these guidelines when creating a PDF file:

Prepare a PDF file for printing in graphics programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Quark X or Corel Draw! Always prepare the print file in the correct format (1:1), exept jumbo posters (1:10) and citylight posters (1:5).
Use raster images in a print file with sufficient resolution (dpi-dots per inch) to print business prints with a minimum of 250-300 dpi, ou can also use images with a resolution when printing in larger formats (XXL printing) from 100 dpi. Black texts or fonts smaller than 15 pt, create only from black (C = 0%, M = 0%, Y = 0%, K = 100% ), not from all four colors, because printing can be delayed in color registration. Font size should not be less than 6 pt. Export the fonts you use in the file to PDF with the embedded fonts function or convert them to curves. We recommend that you save the file using the PDF: X3 / 2002 standard. Vector lines or the lines should have a minimum thickness 0,25 pt or 0,1 mm.
When the print reaches the edge of the cut, the file format must be increased on each side by 3 mm! In this case, pull the design (colors, pictures…) out from the edge of the cut!
Graphic elements (fonts, logos, etc.) should be at least 3-5 mm or more away from the cut line.
The print file should also contain Crop Marks.
All graphic elements in the print file (images, color backgrounds, logos, fonts ...) should be in CMYK color space, but not in RGB. The exceptions are PANTONE colors, but whose printing is possible only in the offset technique, where Pantone color is printed as an additional color). When saving the file, use the FOGRA39 (ISO Coated v2) setting for paper and the FOGRA47 (PSO Uncoated ISO12647) setting for uncoated paper. If the file is sent in RGB color space, color differences may occur, for which, unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible! We recommend that you create a PDF file or save with standard PDF/X3:2002.
Please check the compliance of the print file again before sending the file to our server, as we cannot take responsibility for errors resulting from incorrect preparation!
