Perfect binding allows the production of compact and durable publications suitable for everyday use. It is ideal for catalogs, presentations, books, reports, and other high-page-count materials.
In this binding process, the spine of the book block is milled and then glued to the cover using hotmelt adhesive. The result is a strong and professional publication.
Perfect binding is suitable for publications with 40 to 700 pages, up to a spine thickness of approximately 50 mm.
Benefits:
The inner pages are typically printed on 90–130 gsm paper, while the cover is printed on thicker stock (around 300 gsm) for added durability.
For longer lifespan, we recommend laminating the cover (matte, gloss, or soft-touch).
These finishes enhance both visual appeal and perceived value.
